This page describes how My Mental Climb handles information. We distinguish between two categories:

1. Clinical information — anything you share during therapy or intake. Governed by HIPAA and California mental health privacy law.
2. Website information — data collected from this site (form submissions, basic analytics). Governed by this policy.

Clinical information

Any information you share in therapy — what you discuss, intake forms, session notes, billing records — is protected under HIPAA and California mental health confidentiality law. We cannot disclose clinical information without your written authorization, with narrow legal exceptions:

• Disclosure of intent to seriously harm yourself or another identifiable person
• Disclosure of abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult
• Court order, subpoena, or other legally required disclosure

Website information

When you use this website, we may collect:

• Form submissions: name, email, phone, and message text you enter into the contact form. Used only to respond to your inquiry.
• Booking information: handled through Calendly per their privacy policy.
• Analytics and marketing tags: we use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags. These measure traffic (pages visited, device type, referral source) and campaign performance. They may set cookies in your browser. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. We do not sell this data.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information to third parties.
• We don't run retargeting or remarketing ad campaigns against site visitors.
• We don't store health information in website form submissions — please don't share clinical details in the contact form.

Your rights

Under California law (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of sharing. To exercise these rights, email info@mymentalclimb.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new "last updated" date.
